We had an awesome week with Ken Cook, an evangelist from Texas!
He helped us get out into the community and meet new people and we were able to let the cities of Dover & New Phila. know that we exist! It seems that we've been hidden for these last 2 years because we've been so focused on remodeling the inside of the church, but finally all our hard work has paid off and we have a beautiful sanctuary, offices, and Sunday school rooms!
On Sunday July 5th, we had a church picnic at the Dover Park. It was a beautiful day for a picnic! We had lots of good food, Corn Hole, fishing, baseball, and meeting new people!
Amongst all of the setting up for the picnic, I had to find time to get ready for a 5-day stay at church camp at Buckey Lake in Newark, Ohio... Jr High camp for 12-14 year olds! It was a blast, and it seemed like I was gone for a month! It was a nice getaway, but I did miss my hubby!
It looks like the next big event on the agenda is the North American Youth Congress in Aug.! That will be a blast... three days in Nashville, TN.!
Then we have a joint church picnic --- six churches will join together to have one big picnic. Food, games, and fun!
